Established in 1974 by Dr. Rodney J. Schieffer, Southside Pet Hospital began on South Water Street in Olathe, KS. As the practice grew, it moved to 231 E. Dennis Avenue in 1979, the same year Dr. David Gray joined the team. In 2014, Southside relocated to its current home at 457 N. K-7 Highway in Olathe.

For over 50 years, our mission has remained the same: to provide the highest quality veterinary care while promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health, and client education.
